Organisation and finance
Save the Children Finland implements its international programme with funds from both public and private sources. Individual donations and regular support from private donors and corporate partners are vital, as they enable the organization to carry out its work.
Since 2006, Save the Children Finland has had a partnership agreement with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland. The ministry funding for the period 2011-2013 amounts to 12.5 million euro.
The budget of Save the Children´s international programmes in 2011 totals 6.5 million euro, including administrative costs (around 10 percent).
